Published research on coaching and behaviour change. View studies
- POWER trial — Appel et al., NEJM (2011): in a randomised trial of 415 adults with obesity and at least one cardiovascular risk factor, average weight loss at 24 months was 5.1 kg with in-person coaching plus remote support, compared with 0.8 kg in the self-directed group. Relative difference: (5.1 − 0.8) ÷ 0.8 × 100 = 537.5%, rounded to 538%.
- Mazzetti et al. (2000) — Trainer supervision: 18 moderately trained men completed the same 12-week resistance-training programme. Average bench press one-repetition maximum increased by 22% with direct one-to-one trainer supervision and 15% without direct supervision. Relative difference in percentage strength gains: (22 − 15) ÷ 15 × 100 = 46.7%, rounded to 47%.
- Wing & Jeffery (1999) — Weight-loss maintenance: in a study of 166 participants, 66% of those recruited with friends or family and given additional social support maintained their weight loss in full from months 4 to 10, compared with 24% of those recruited alone and given standard behavioural treatment. Relative increase in the proportion maintaining weight loss: (66 − 24) ÷ 24 × 100 = 175%.
How does the Exec Health Club membership work?
EHC membership combines a personalised training and nutrition programme with a dedicated Performance Coach. A Strength & Conditioning Coach and Clinical Nutritionist create the programme; the coach supports daily follow-through through private WhatsApp contact, feedback, voice notes, videos and progress checks. Membership also includes practical support around travel, recovery and a changing schedule.
Can I cancel anytime?
New memberships on this plan are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel before the next renewal to stop future payments. Existing memberships retain their agreed billing cadence and terms. Review the applicable billing and cancellation terms before choosing whether to join.
How does daily accountability work?
Members stay in contact with their Performance Coach through private WhatsApp support. Check-ins, reminders, feedback, voice notes and videos help turn the programme into daily actions. The coach follows up on what has been completed, discusses obstacles and helps members keep track of agreed actions.
Is there a 30-day first-payment guarantee?
Yes. New memberships on this plan include a 30-day first-payment guarantee. If EHC isn’t for you, email hello@exechealthclub.com within 30 days of your first successful membership payment. We’ll cancel your membership and refund that first payment in full.
This guarantee covers the first membership payment only. Existing members keep any broader guarantee rights already agreed. The guarantee is additional to consumer rights; the full terms explain the details.

FAQs
Is EHC coaching delivered by a real person or AI?
A real person. Each member works with a dedicated Performance Coach. The coach gets to know the member’s goals and routine, reviews check-ins and provides individual feedback through private WhatsApp messages, voice notes and videos. Members have a person to discuss questions and setbacks with throughout their membership.
Are membership payments in US dollars?
Yes. EHC membership is billed in US dollars. For an account held in another currency, the member’s bank or payment provider handles conversion and may apply exchange rates or fees. The amount and currency payable are confirmed before you authorise payment.
How do I join?
Open the online checkout to review membership, its monthly price and the terms. You can select your training goals and must confirm your executive role before choosing whether to pay. After successful payment, your onboarding questionnaire helps the team understand your goals and arrange coaching. If EHC cannot provide a suitable service, the subscription is cancelled and the payment refunded in full.
What happens after a member joins?
After successful payment, you complete a questionnaire about your goals, training experience, current exercise, available equipment, training time, eating habits, supplements and sleep. You can also add a note for the team, then book Onboarding with EHC’s Head Coach or contact EHC for help arranging it. Your Strength & Conditioning Coach and Clinical Nutritionist use that information to shape your program, while your Performance Coach establishes how day-to-day support will work.
How is progress tracked?
The Performance Coach reviews check-ins and progress information shared by the member. What matters depends on the member’s goals: training performance, completed sessions and consistency with daily habits can all inform the review. This provides a regular opportunity to recognise progress and identify where more support is needed.
Are special foods, meal replacements or supplements required?
No. EHC’s nutrition approach is built around everyday food and practical eating habits. Members do not need to buy proprietary meals, bars, shakes or supplements to take part. Supplement guidance is optional, and EHC takes no commissions on supplement recommendations.
Can nutrition plans accommodate food preferences?
Yes. The Clinical Nutritionist plans around foods the member enjoys, dietary preferences, practical restrictions and everyday routines. Meal planning and eating habits can account for home cooking, business dinners and travel. The Performance Coach helps the member put that plan into practice and raises questions with the Clinical Nutritionist when needed.
How do business dinners and eating out fit in?
Business dinners and restaurant meals can be included in a member’s nutrition strategy. The Clinical Nutritionist can plan around regular commitments and upcoming events, while the Performance Coach helps the member apply those choices in practice. Eating out is treated as part of the routine to plan for.
Can EHC support members who use GLP-1 medication?
Yes. EHC can support members with training, general nutrition routines and daily accountability alongside care from their prescribing clinician. The Strength & Conditioning Coach and Clinical Nutritionist can consider practical restrictions or guidance from that clinician when shaping the programme, while the Performance Coach supports day-to-day follow-through.
The prescribing clinician remains responsible for medication, dose changes and side effects. EHC provides coaching, not medical or medication advice.
Is a gym membership required?
No. Training can be planned around the equipment available at home, in a gym or in hotel facilities. Sessions reflect the member’s goals, starting point and available equipment. EHC provides online coaching; gym memberships and in-person sessions are not included.
How is each training plan personalised?
A Strength & Conditioning Coach designs the training programme around the member’s goals, current ability, schedule and available equipment. Strength, cardio and mobility can be included according to those needs. The Performance Coach supports completion and passes feedback to the Strength & Conditioning Coach when the programme needs to be reviewed.
How much time does training require?
Training time is planned individually. Members share their realistic availability during onboarding, including work and travel commitments. The Strength & Conditioning Coach uses that information, together with the member’s goals and starting point, to set a programme that can be fitted into the week.
Can members follow their programme while travelling?
Travel support is included. Upcoming trips, available facilities and likely constraints can be taken into account when the programme is planned. The Performance Coach supports follow-through on the road, including hotel workouts and practical eating routines.
Who is EHC for, and is membership available internationally?
EHC is designed for executives, founders and operators balancing health goals with demanding work and travel. The service is delivered remotely, so members do not need to attend a particular location.
Membership is available to adults aged 18 or over living in the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong or New Zealand. Communication arrangements are discussed during onboarding, with ongoing support through private WhatsApp messages, voice notes and videos.
Can EHC help someone who knows what to do but struggles to stay consistent?
Yes. Accountability coaching focuses on follow-through. A member and their coach can review missed sessions, changes in routine or repeated difficulties with eating habits to identify what is getting in the way. The coach helps the member practise manageable actions and build consistency over time.
Is EHC worth trying after other programmes have not worked?
EHC combines personalised programming with a dedicated Performance Coach who follows up on progress and helps members address obstacles. That ongoing support is intended for people who need help putting a plan into practice consistently.
New memberships on this plan include EHC’s 30-day first-payment guarantee. Questions before joining can be sent to hello@exechealthclub.com.
